ABOUT
RoofEazy is one of my very first business project, offering BnB services for homeowners in Kuala Lumpur, partnered along with my family member. This BnB brand was created during my university days, hoping to bring my business endeavour to live.
RoofEazy was created in 2017 beginning with two rental units in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. During this time, AirBnB was relatively new yet becoming popular for operating an online marketplace for lodging, primarily homestays for vacation rentals, and tourism activities. The idea behind RoofEazy was to tap into the AirBnB market by offering easy rental services with lucrative ROI compared to yearly rentals for homeowners.
Shortly after 6 months of operation, RoofEazy was able to expand with more than 8 rental units focusing in areas of Cyberjaya and Shah Alam.
BRANDING CONCEPT
The concept of RoofEazy compromises of two keywords; "Roof" represents House/Property and "Eazy" represents Easy Management for Rental/Hosting Solutions. The logo was created using combination method of Logotype and Logomark.
This brand emphasizes on customer care with rental properties with clean, simple and modern interior design. Therefore, we used the colour Pink and Dark Turquoise to represent Care and Modernity.
MARKETING
Social media was used to post reviews from home owners
to promote brand awareness. Targeted audience of potential clients are middle age individuals who owns a home. As we focused in small areas in Cyberjaya and Shah Alam, we were able to used paid advertising in Facebook & Instagram to target these audiences.
ROOFEAZY.COM was created to show all available units in our listing while showing the possibility of AirBnB online marketplace. To build customer loyalty who rented with us before, we offered promotion on returning stays with RoofEazy through the use of website and email marketing.
